About Us

Hello and thank you for visiting the West London & Slough Taekwondo website. My name is Declan McGrath and I am a 4th Degree (Dan) black belt holder. I have been practicing Taekwondo for over twenty years and a Black Belt holder since 1993. Our aim is to run a professional & friendly Taekwondo club for anyone prepared to make a genuine commitment to training.

Our club is affiliated to the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF). Therefore any promotions gained through the grading system are internationally recognized throughout the World. This ensures that standards are kept consistent in every club. A black belt awarded by the ITF is recognized and held in high regard worldwide! We are members of the United Kingdom Global Taekwondo association (UKGT).

Membership fees

We have three basic membership schemes.

• Single membership £35 per calendar month.  This is the standard inclusive membership fee for one person only. 
• Joint membership £59 per calendar month.  This membership is for couples or more than one family member.  A typical joint membership would allow a parent and child or two siblings to train together for reduced fees.
• Family membership £79 per calendar month.  This membership allows up to five members of a family to train together with substantial discount.  This offer only applies to parents and children of one immediate family.

Beginners enrolment offer

It’s easy to join our club. Simply fill in the membership application form and bring it with you to the club.  After enrolment you will receive everything you need to start training free! The enrolment package consists of the following items;

• Licence booklet. Free!
• One years insurance. Free!
• Training suit. Free!

The insurance is provided and supported by the British Taekwondo council. I am a registered instructor with the BTC and my current insurance cover and CRB clearance can be found on their site under UKGT instructors.
